Terms & Conditions – Photo Contest
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your participation in the My Salone My Photo Photo Contest (“Contest”) organised by Sierra Leone National Tourist Board (“Organizer”). By entering the Contest, you agree to be bound by this Agreement in its entirety. Please read these terms carefully before participating.
1. Eligibility
1.1 The Contest is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
1.2 The Contest is open to both residents and non-residents of Sierra Leone.
1.3 Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Sierra Leone National Tourist Board are not eligible to participate.

2. Contest Entry
2.1 To enter the Contest, participants must upload their original photographs of Sierra Leone, along with interesting captions, on their personal social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter).
2.2 Entries must include the hashtag #MySaloneMyPhotos to be considered valid.
2.3 Participants may submit multiple entries, but each entry must be unique.
2.4 By submitting an entry, you affirm that the photograph and caption are your original work, and you hold all necessary rights and permissions to use the content.

3. Rights and Permissions
3.1 By entering the Contest, you grant the Sierra Leone National Tourist Board and Tourism Sierra Leone a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute your submitted photographs and captions on their official social media channels, website, and promotional materials for marketing and promotional purposes related to Sierra Leone tourism.
3.2 You acknowledge and agree that the Organizers have the right to edit, modify, or adapt your photographs and captions for such promotional use, if necessary.
3.3 The Organizers will provide appropriate credit to the participants for any use of their photographs and captions whenever reasonably possible.

4. Selection of Winners
4.1 Winners will be selected based on the quality, creativity, and relevance of their photographs and captions, as determined solely by the Organizers.
4.2 The Organizers will select one winning photo + caption combination from all valid entries received during the Contest period.
4.3 The winner will be notified through the social media platform used for submission within a reasonable time after the selection.

5. Prizes
5.1 The winning photo + caption combination will be featured on Tourism Sierra Leone’s official social media channels and website, with appropriate credit to the winner.
5.2 Prizes, if any, will be determined by the Organizers and will be disclosed separately, if applicable.
5.3 Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash or any other alternative.

6. General Conditions
6.1 The Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any entry that violates these Terms and Conditions or contains inappropriate content, as determined in their sole discretion.
6.2 The Organizers reserve the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical issues that affect the fairness or integrity of the Contest.
6.3 The Organizers will not be liable for any losses, damages, or expenses incurred by participants in connection with the Contest.
6.4 By participating in the Contest, you agree to release and hold harmless the Organizers, their affiliates, employees, and agents from any and all liability arising from your participation in the Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
7.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sierra Leone.
7.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sierra Leone.
